trough water-feature

Check out this simple but effective water-feature by George and Jennifer Anderson of Gardens by Jemma, a boutique landscape design and construction company in Brisbane.   George and Jennifer frequently incorporate Quatro Design products into their landscape projects.

For this water-feature they have used two of our 2400mm long trough planters from our 600 Modular Series.  When making the troughs we incorporated additional wall reinforcement to counter the considerable water pressure against the 2.4 metre x 600mm high walls.

Gardens by Jemma literally went underwater during the Brisbane floods back in early 2012.  They’re located a stone’s throw from the Brisbane River in Westend, a suburb that was severely affected during the flood.  Fortunately that hasn’t stopped them from continuing to beaufify Brisbane homes and gardens.

now in our new factory

Coinciding with the beginning of the new financial year is the completion of our move to Murwillumbah.

As of this past Monday, 1 July, we’ve been operating from our new factory at 6 Kay St in Murwillumbah.  Its been a massive move involving the transfer of all of our plant and equipment, set up in the new factory, etc., while maintaining production up until last Thursday at our old Currumbin factory.

We’re still sorting through some of the issues regarding  the set up of new telephone lines.  In the meantime our previous phone number remains valid.  If for any reason you can’t get through on our landline, please call me on 0413 383 449.

quatro planters at sydney airport hotel

Tom Cassar at 360º Landscape Architects has sent me these images of the 1500 Designer bowls we recently supplied for the new Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel.  The hotel is located in the new International Airport precinct, just a minute’s walk from the international terminal.

We also supplied a 2300 Designer bowl for the hotel which is located in the main foyer.
