Quatro Design Pots at Gold Coast Airport

Gold Coast Airport

20/11/2019

Gold Coast Airport is one of Australia’s fastest growing airports, welcoming over 6.5 million passengers every year. Its unique location services both South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

In 1936 the current site was selected for use as an emergency landing ground for flights between Sydney and Brisbane, with the first regular passenger transport service commencing in 1939. The airport has grown in leaps and bounds from its humble beginnings and recognises its key role in Gold Coast tourism and other business activities.

As part of its ongoing growth, the airport also offers a range of parking and transport options, including the Skybus Gold Coast Airport Shuttle, connecting the airport to Gold Coast’s most popular tourist locations.

A cluster of Quatro Design’s U Bowl planters were used to add greenery and soften the waiting area next to the Sky Bus and Airport Shuttle collection and drop-off points, conveniently located next to the terminal.

Quatro Design supplied 1500 Tall, 1200 Medium, and 900 Low U Bowl Planters in white. The U Bowls were planted with hardy tropical plants that add interest, texture, and height to the hard surfaces of the parking area. Shade net provides a reprieve from hot Gold Coast days whilst passengers wait to be collected.

The over-sized 1500 tall u bowls make quite the statement and it is easy to see why our U Bowl range of planters is so popular.
