Gold Coast’s northern corridor is one of the fastest growing regions in Australia and the fastest in Queensland. Pimpama City Centre with over 18,000 square metres of retail space opened in September 2018 to cater to the needs of the rapidly-growing local population.
Quatro Design supplied the GRC concrete planters and street furniture within the mall. We worked with owner-developer Norm Rix and Brisbane architects TRG to customise various products.
This included modifying the timber seating specification, adding a low backrest to the Delta seat planter, and applying an orange painted band to it, a 2200 Soul seat-planter, and the Fusion planters.
Orange is Mr. Rix’s signature colour and he wanted to include it in the decor.
