Scentre’s Westfield Coomera shopping mall that recently opened on Queensland Gold’s Coast incorporates numerous Quatro Design products throughout the $470 million development.
Spanning over 59,000m2, the modern new centre offers 140 speciality retail stores, including Coles, Woolworths, Kmart, Target, JB Hi-Fi, Rebel and Event Cinemas, as well as numerous coffee shops, bars and restaurants.
The interior retail areas feature several Delta II seat planters with timber decking while outdoor areas include Quatro Designer Bowls, U Bowls and trough planters, all made in GRC concrete. Some of the bowls have our custom pitted-effect on the exterior surface, while others have been ‘rusted’ with our rust effect treatment.
Additionally, Quatro Design supplied the bowls used in the outdoor water-features. We incorporated spillways into the rims of our Zen bowls to enable a waterfall effect where water spills from one bowl to another. These Zen bowls were also treated with our rust-effect coating.
