Historic Club Renovation and Fit Out
Sans Souci, NSW
The massive renovation and redevelopment of the historic St George Sailing Club (founded in 1897) was recently completed. All existing buildings were demolished and replaced with the new and improved custom designed and purpose-built sailing club, boat sheds, rigging decks and launching ramps.
Designed by Jon Jacka architects, the new space stretching over 1600 square meters, appears to float over the water. The grand and modern interior fit out includes a bistro, open air dining, a sports bar and function spaces. A wrap-around boardwalk allows guests to take in the stunning Botany Bay coastal views and Captain Cook bridge.
The passionate and knowledgeable team from Northern Beaches Creative Gardens introduced feature pots and greenery to the front entry and all dining areas as a final touch before the club’s grand opening.
NBCG used a collection of our U Bowls in white and grey as feature pots and planted them with a selection of hardy yet trendy plant varieties to create a warm and inviting interior atmosphere.
Our U Bowl pots are well suited to both outdoor and interior garden settings, and their timeless design and smooth finish compliments this newly renovated space exceptionally well.
